| | Bishi - On My Own Again | ] | Yesterday Mia and I made onigiri with tuna, Japanese mayo, shiitake, and onion seeds, and went goth watching in the park with a couple of her friends. I brought along a sweatband so that I could lead some of the more becorseted goths in some aerobic excercises. Those corsets can be expensive, but with my help, they can lead a new life as fit and friendly people. By the third rice ball, however, I just wanted to sit and drink my coffee. Forgive me, Tony Little.
I'm housesitting for Mia until she returns on Tuesday, which basically means I get a house to myself, all the weird Japanese food I can eat, a Super Nintendo, and a cat with diarrhea. Germany, you treat me well. |

| | my cough is back DAMN IT | ] | So, what have I been up to. Well, the party I was DJing at went well. Lots of kids dancing to cool music. I danced as well, it was great. The girl who hired me to DJ is an amazing DJ herself, and I was bouncing along happily. She's a pretty amazing person as well; I only wish my time here wasn't so short so we could have more together. Still, making the most of it. During breakfast the other day (bagels, krauter cream cheese and carmelized goat cheese) she remarked on my hair, and that very evening she was cutting it to the bolumpus sounds of John Maus. Yes, she is awesome. I'm making lasagna for her tomorrow night.
This week it's my GPP DJ gig on Thursday, the Glitter + Trauma nu-rave/wave party Friday, and Superkronik Saturday, with the rad Schwefelgelb. Bee There Orr Bee A Rectangular Thyng.
Oh, and read Widdershins by Charles De Lint. Great stuff. |

| | Momus - Lucky Like St. Sebastian | ] | Last night I went with my friend Mia to an amazing night here in Leipzig. She said it was very standard, but if that's standard then I'd love to see something better. In the first hour I heard The Organ, Crytsal Castles, Grabba Grabba Tape, and a Health/Disco Remix. I was dancing like a loon. Very nice. Tonight is Claws of Saurtopia! Tomorrow we're getting our dance on again at Sweat Club. Keep giving me good moods, Leipzig. |
